RAVA HUMAN CAPITAL is seeking a Forestry Health & Safety Officer (Samtrac/NOSA) in Piet Retief. The role involves managing risk assessments, investigations, and audits, and implementing corrective actions to uphold high safety standards on site.

Candidates should have 4–5 years of HSE experience, strong knowledge of safety protocols, and be prepared to travel and work irregular hours as required. A valid driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field.
• SAMTRAC or NOSA certification is advantageous.
• Valid Driver’s License (Code B/08) minimum.
• Medically fit.
• Willingness to travel and work irregular hours when required.

Responsabilités

• Conduct risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Perform audits and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain familiarity with PPE requirements and hazardous materials handling in forestry/mining.
• Prepare safety reports using standard reporting systems.
