A logistics company in Umhlanga KZN is looking for an experienced HR Officer/Generalist. You will manage recruitment, payroll administration, and provide support on industrial relations. Ideal candidates possess a relevant HR degree and at least 5 years of generalist experience in HR. Strong administrative skills and proficiency in SAGE 300 People are essential. Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience
  • Matric (Grade 12) + Relevant HR / Industrial Psychology Degree (Honours an advantage)
  • 5+ years HR Generalist experience (incl. IR / CCMA)
  • Strong admin, interviewing and HR partnering skills
  • Advanced MS Office, SAGE 300 People (essential), online recruitment platforms, background check systems
Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment & Selection: Manage end-to-end process from advertising, screening, interviewing, checks and offers.
  • Payroll & HR Administration: Maintain SAGE 300 People system, contracts, employee records, reports, EE submissions, and HR documentation.
  • Benefits: Administer Retirement Fund, Medical Aid, and staff loans.
  • Industrial Relations: Advise and support management on IR matters, attend hearings, ensure policy compliance, and stay updated on labour law.
  • General HR: Support EE & Training Committee, compile HR policies / procedures, handle exit interviews, and provide HR reporting.
