Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive HR Officer to join their Soweto team. This role provides support across HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, and employee records management, contributing to a positive workplace environment in Gauteng.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in HR or related field and 2–4 years of HR experience, with proficiency in HRIS and MS Office. South African labour law knowledge is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
• 2–4 years experience in an HR role, preferably as Assistant/Officer.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and MS Office.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with SA labour laws is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the HR department in executing daily HR operations for the Soweto branch.
• Assist in managing the recruitment process, including advertising vacancies, screening CVs, and scheduling interviews.
• Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and confidential.
• Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a seamless integration.
• Provide information and support to employees regarding HR policies and benefits.
• Assist with the administration of HR programs and initiatives.
