Job summary

Dante Personnel is seeking a senior HR professional with strong SHEQ credentials to lead human resources functions on-site in Johannesburg. The role requires governance, risk assessments, and employee lifecycle oversight across recruitment, onboarding, engagement, development and exit processes.

Candidates must have a relevant degree, 5+ years HR experience, knowledge of South African Labour Laws, ISO and audits exposure, and proven leadership to coach managers and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

Job description

Minimum requirements:

• Matric / Grade 12 qualification
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, SHEQ, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in Human Resources, with proven exposure to SHEQ responsibilities
• Proven experience in HR management, employee relations, recruitment, performance management, disciplinary processes, and organisational development
• Strong knowledge and practical understanding of South African Labour Laws and employment legislation
• Proven experience with SHEQ management, including risk assessments, incident/accident investigations, compliance monitoring, audits, and maintaining risk registers.
• Experience working with ISO standards and certification requirements, preferably within an operational or industrial environment
• Experience conducting or supporting internal audits, compliance reviews, and process improvements
• Proven leadership and people-management experience, with the ability to coach and advise managers and employees
• Strong understanding of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, engagement, development, and exit processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Must be willing and able to work on-site in Johannesburg.
