Job summary

MedE Recruit is assisting a well-established dental practice in Randburg, Johannesburg, to hire an HPCSA-registered Dental Assistant with strong chairside skills and implant/surgical experience.

The ideal candidate will support reception and front-desk duties when needed, work effectively in a team, and maintain professional patient care in a busy environment. A current HPCSA registration and reliable transport are required.

Qualifications

• HPCSA-registered Dental Assistant with current registration.
• Minimum of 3 years’ dental assisting experience.
• Implant and surgical experience essential.
• Experience assisting with reception and administrative duties advantageous.
• Experience with Solumed Pro highly advantageous.
• Experience with GoodX or similar systems considered.
• Strong chairside assisting skills.
• Strong administrative, communication and organisational skills.
• Professional, reliable and well-presented.
• Johannesburg resident preferred; own vehicle with a valid licence.

Responsibilities

• Assist dental team during procedures and provide chairside support.
• Support reception and front desk duties when needed.
• Maintain patient records and appointment scheduling.
• Work as part of a team in a high-pressure environment.
