Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in horticulture or related field.
• 3+ years in professional horticulture, with 1+ year in supervision.
• Knowledge of plant identification, soils, pests, and irrigation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct daily activities of the horticultural team, including planting, pruning, fertilizing, and pest control.
• Develop and implement seasonal horticultural plans and landscape maintenance.
• Inspect grounds and gardens to ensure high presentation standards.
• Manage inventory of supplies, tools, and equipment; oversee usage and maintenance.
• Train and mentor team members on best practices in horticulture and safety.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct daily activities of the horticultural team, including planting, pruning, fertilizing, and pest control.

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Horticulture, Landscape Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in professional horticulture, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong knowledge of plant identification, soil science, pest and disease management, and irrigation systems.
• Experience with landscape design principles and grounds maintenance practices.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
