Job summary

The Building Company in Centurion is seeking a delivery driver for a temporary role. You will be responsible for delivering goods, packing vehicles neatly, and ensuring loads reach customers intact.

You should have a Code 10/8 license with PrDP, 2 years driving experience, and a commitment to road safety and accurate documentation. The position requires reliability, strong time management, and flexibility to work overtime, weekends or public holidays if needed.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 and valid PrDP required.
• Code 10 (HV); Code 8 (LV) with vehicle weight <3501–9000 kg.
• 2 years relevant driving experience.
• Ability to complete trip sheets, delivery notes, and documentation.
• Reliability, safety-conscious and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods to customers.
• Ensure vehicle is neatly packed.
• Prevent damages and breakages.
• Supervise and assist loading.
• Perform daily vehicle inspection checks.
• Report defects promptly.
• Maintain vehicles in good condition.
• Deliver correct quantities and supplies.
• Reduce costs on vehicles.
• Process delivery notes authorizations.
