Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) safely and legally for long-haul transportation.
• Perform thorough inspections of vehicles before and after each trip to ensure roadworthiness.
• Securely load and unload cargo, adhering to weight restrictions and safety protocols.
• Plan and execute delivery routes efficiently, considering traffic, road conditions, and delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and cargo status.
• Report any vehicle malfunctions or accidents immediately to management.

Requirements

• Valid EC driver's license with PDP (Professional Driving Permit).
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience driving heavy goods vehicles.
• Clean driving record and a strong commitment to safety.
• Ability to manage long hours and work flexible schedules, including weekends if required.
