Placements24 is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver for duties in Centurion. You will operate light commercial vehicles, collect and deliver packages, and ensure timely, safe transit for a diverse clientele.

You will contribute to efficient service delivery with strong knowledge of local roads and a customer‑focused approach, in a dynamic urban setting. Training on safe driving and service excellence is provided.

Qualifications

• Must possess reliable Code 10 driver's license with PDP.
• Proven experience as Delivery Driver or similar role.
• Good knowledge of Centurion and surrounding Gauteng roads.
• Ability to lift and carry packages of varying weights.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service orientation.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to operate light commercial vehicles for their operations based in Centurion . You will be responsible for collecting and delivering packages, ensuring timely and safe transit for our diverse clientele. This role requires a professional demeanor, excellent knowledge of the local road network, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. As part of the Driving & Transport team, you will contribute to the smooth functioning of our distribution services, ensuring that goods reach their destinations promptly and in excellent condition. This position offers a blend of driving and logistical support tasks within a dynamic urban environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate light commercial vehicles (e.g., vans, small trucks) for the collection and delivery of goods in and around the Centurion area.
• Plan daily routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries and pickups, optimizing fuel consumption and time management.
• Load and unload packages carefully, ensuring that items are properly secured and handled to prevent damage.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including proof of delivery signatures and any required documentation.
• Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order and report any maintenance needs promptly.
• Provide courteous and professional service to customers during all delivery interactions.

Requirements
