The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years in heavy vehicle maintenance, a recognized trade qualification, and hands-on experience with leading truck brands.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as Heavy Duty Vehicle Mechanic.
• Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel Mechanics.
• Experience with major truck/bus brands (MAN/Scania/Mercedes-Benz).
• Proficient in diesel diagnostics, repair and overhaul.
• Strong knowledge of air brake systems and ABS.
• Valid Code 10+ driver''s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and complex repairs on heavy-duty diesel vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, suspension, braking, and hydraulic systems.
• Conduct scheduled maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical and electrical issues in heavy vehicles.
• Ensure repairs comply with safety regulations and manufacturer specs for heavy transport.
• Maintain accurate service records and report on vehicle condition and required repairs.
