Job summary

X, bigly labs, Dis-Chem’s high-performance innovation hub, seeks a T-shaped engineer to own end-to-end healthcare solution architectures. You will design multi-squad initiatives, translate business needs into scalable solutions, and govern API contracts across systems including SAP Commerce Cloud.

We expect deep healthcare domain expertise, strong collaboration with product and business stakeholders, and ability to contribute to production code when needed to de-risk delivery.

Qualifications

• Designing end-to-end healthcare/clinical system solutions
• Deep understanding of healthcare workflows, systems and integrations
• Experience with clinical platforms, not generic enterprise systems
• Ability to define and govern API contracts and enterprise integration patterns
• Produce architecture artefacts and provide technical assurance through reviews
• Identify and manage technical risks, dependencies and trade-offs
• Ensure security, reliability, scalability and maintainability in decisions
• Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to balance outcomes and timelines
• Contribute to production code when needed to unblock teams

Responsibilities

• Own solution design for initiatives spanning multiple squads, systems, and vendors
• Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable architectures
• Define and govern API contracts and integration patterns, including with SAP Commerce Cloud
• Produce and maintain architecture artefacts
• Provide technical assurance through design reviews and go-live readiness
• Identify and manage technical risks, dependencies, and trade-offs
• Ensure security, reliability, scalability, observability, and maintainability
• Collaborate with Product and Business stakeholders to balance outcomes and timelines
• Contribute to production code when needed to unblock teams
• Provide reference implementations, templates, and reusable patterns
• Participate in architecture-level code reviews
• Support production readiness through strong practices
