Placements24 is seeking a Healthcare Architectural Specialist to lead the design of hospitals, clinics, and medical facilities from our Centurion, Gauteng office. You will drive architectural solutions that promote healing, efficiency, and safety for patients and staff, coordinating with clinicians and engineers.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in Architecture, has at least 7 years of healthcare project experience, and is proficient in Revit and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of architectural experience with a significant focus on healthcare projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in healthcare facility planning, design, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in architectural design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and rendering tools.
• Familiarity with South African healthcare infrastructure and building standards.
• SACAP registration is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design process for new healthcare facilities and renovations.
• Develop functional layouts, space programming, and detailed design solutions specific to healthcare needs.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate with medical professionals, hospital administrators, and technical consultants to understand operational requirements.
