Job summary

Labournet Cape Town seeks a Health and Safety Consultant to help implement and maintain a comprehensive OHS management system for diverse client sites. You will engage with management teams to drive compliance and improvements, and deliver safety documentation and training.

The role requires a Grade 12 and an NQF 5 OHS certificate, MS Office proficiency, and a valid driver’s license with own vehicle. 6–12 months of H&S experience is expected; consulting experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• NQF Level 5 Accredited Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
• MS Office proficiency
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle essential
• Minimum 6 months - 1 year experience in Health & Safety
• Consulting experience will be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Provide advice to support overall compliance to OHS legal requirements and mitigate client exposure to losses, fines or reputational damage.
• Implement and maintain a detailed project plan for each client.
• Conduct safety audits aligned with industry standards.
• Prepare and deliver safety files specific to the project.
