Job summary

Hoxana Consulting Engineers in Centurion seeks a Health and Safety Practitioner for a permanent role at the Centurion Office. Candidates should hold a BEng, BSc Eng or BTech in Occupational Health and Safety and have at least five years of relevant consulting experience.

Professional SACPCMP registration is an advantage, a valid driver’s license is required, and duties include developing policies, investigating incidents, reporting, safety training, and cost management on design and construction

Qualifications

• B Eng/BSc Eng/BTech in Occupational Health and Safety.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in consulting.
• Professional SACPCMP registration is an added advantage.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience in health and safety within construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing health and safety policies.
• Investigating workplace accidents and safety-related complaints.
• Producing Health and safety reports.
• Conducting in-house occupational health and safety training.
• Staying up to date with new developments in health and safety legislation.
• Monitoring costs and reporting to clients during the design and construction of projects.
• Determining final costs of projects.
• Manage the project finances.
