Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking an experienced Health Merchandiser for their Mossel Bay store. You will ensure merchandising standards are executed and maintained while providing outstanding customer service.

Requirements include Grade 12, up to 6 months retail experience, MS Office proficiency, and willingness to work retail hours. Candidates should be reliable, presentable and able to lift and move heavy boxes as needed.

Responsibilities

• Restock merchandise as per business requirements.
• Ensure stock is stored and packed correctly.
• Ensure full range of products is on shelves at all times.
• Rotate stock using First In First Out principles.
• Assist with general stocktaking.
• Keep shelves and displays neat, labeled and priced.
• Maintain store and merchandise displays daily.
• Assist with back shopping and handle customer stock queries.

Dis-Chem Pharmacies is looking for an experienced Health Merchandiser for their Mossel Bay store. Your responsibilities lie in ensuring Dis-Chem’s basic merchandising standards are properly executed and maintained. Provide customers with outstanding customer service.

Minimum Requirements…

Essential:

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Up to 6 months’ retail experience
• Computer literate – MS Office
• Willing and able to work retail hours

Advantageous:

• Diploma or degree within the Health Focus category
• At least 1 year retail experience

Job Specification…

• Restock merchandise as per business requirements.
• Ensure delivered stock/stock pulled from the store room, is stored and packed in the correct space.
• Ensure full range of products is on the shelves at all times.
• Facilitate rotation of stock on a regular, First In First Out basis.
• Assist with general stocktaking.
• Ensure front shop shelves and products are neatly presented and visible at all times, with correct labels and pricing.
• Ensure merchandising displays are built, faced up, stocked and maintained.
• Maintain daily physical upkeep of store and merchandise displays, and be responsible for your designated stock in the store room as well as on the shop floor.
• Assist with back shopping.
• Ensure all customer stock queries are dealt with and resolved.

• Knowledge of merchandising standards and the FMCG industry
