Absa Group in Johannesburg is seeking an experienced Salesforce Solution & Org Architect to lead architecture across the Salesforce ecosystem. You will shape target architecture for a Pan-African CIB, drive native Salesforce adoption, and align with enterprise platforms and data sources to support secure, scalable client engagement.
The role requires 10+ years of Salesforce experience, hands-on architecture leadership, and strong governance; experience with Financial Services Cloud is highly
With over 100 years of rich history and strongly positioned as a local bank with regional and international expertise, a career with our family offers the opportunity to be part of this exciting growth journey, to reset our future and shape our destiny as a proudly African group.
Absa is committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive. We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from suitably qualified individuals from diverse backgrounds. In support of our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) commitments and Employment Equity objectives, preference may be given to candidates from underrepresented designated groups, including persons with disabilities. We encourage applicants who may require reasonable accommodation during the recruitment process to let us know so that appropriate support can be provided.
Ensure that CIB's Salesforce estate evolves as a secure, scalable, connected and sustainable enterprise platform. The role ensures that individual solutions meet immediate business needs without compromising the long‑term integrity of the Salesforce platform, while driving reuse, standardisation and appropriate adoption of native Salesforce and Financial Services Cloud capabilities across CIB's Pan‑African footprint.
What if your next Salesforce architecture didn't just transform a CRM, but helped reinvent how a Corporate & Investment Bank engages its clients?
We are looking for an exceptional Salesforce Solution & Org Architect to help architect something ambitious: the next generation of client engagement for Absa CIB.
We are evolving Salesforce beyond traditional CRM into a connected client engagement ecosystem, designed to put the client at the centre of intelligence, relationships, opportunities, marketing, service and execution. Our ambition is to move from fragmented and product‑led engagement toward a truly client‑led banking model.
Our transformation brings together Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud Next, analytics, enterprise data and advanced AI into a more connected ecosystem. The architecture mandate spans CIB businesses and countries across a Pan‑African footprint.
The opportunity is to establish the blueprints, patterns and architecture guardrails for a Salesforce platform that is secure, scalable, reusable and sustainable, while integrating effectively with enterprise platforms and authoritative data sources.
You will provide architecture leadership across three connected disciplines: Solution Architecture, Org Architecture and Architecture Leadership.
You will translate complex CIB business and technology requirements into end‑to‑end solution architectures while protecting the long‑term integrity, scalability and sustainability of the Salesforce platform and its relationship with the wider enterprise architecture.
You are already a serious Salesforce architect, but you're looking for a problem bigger than another implementation. You understand the difference between implementing Salesforce and architecting an enterprise Salesforce ecosystem.
You bring strong practical experience across complex Salesforce estates and can move comfortably between platform architecture, data architecture, integration, security, identity, org strategy and enterprise architecture.
If you are a Salesforce FSC architect with deep enterprise architecture capability and CIB experience, and the idea of building the next generation of intelligent, client‑led CRM excites you more than maintaining yesterday's architecture, we want to meet you.
