Job summary

Rondebosch Boys’ High School Rowing Club is seeking a Head of Rowing to lead and develop the club’s rowing program. The position is available from January 2027 and invites applications from suitably qualified individuals who believe they have the required skills and competencies to take on this leadership role.

Preference will be given to qualified educators with a rowing background, but others with strong rowing involvement and leadership abilities will be considered.

Qualifications

• Experience in rowing is essential or preferred.
• Experience in education is preferred but not necessary.
• Ability to lead a rowing program and coach and manage a school team.

Rondebosch Boys’ High School Rowing Club is making an ever-increasing impact on the national

rowing scene. With a growing club base and expanding fleet, and several past pupils who have

achieved Provincial and National Colours, the club is well placed to become even more competitive.

RBHS invites applications from individuals, preferably but not exclusively, from qualified educators,

with a Rowing background, for the Head of Rowing position, which will be available from January
