This critical role, based in Paarl, Western Cape, requires a leader with extensive knowledge of viticulture, oenology, and production management within the wine industry. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards from grape cultivation through to bottling and distribution. Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the wine production process, including vineyard management, grape harvesting, fermentation, aging, bottling, and packaging.

• Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance yield, quality, and cost-effectiveness while maintaining premium standards.

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in wine production management, with significant experience in both vineyard operations and winemaking.
• Proven track record in leading and managing operational teams within the wine industry.
• In-depth knowledge of viticulture practices, oenology, fermentation processes, and wine aging techniques.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems and food safety standards (e.g., HACCP).
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Viticulture, Oenology, Agricultural Science, or a related field.
