Job summary

Placements24 in Pretoria, Gauteng, SA, seeks a Director of Mind-Body Wellness Programs to lead development and implementation of comprehensive wellness initiatives. This senior role offers hybrid work and requires expertise in mindfulness, meditation, yoga, stress reduction, and holistic practices to benefit diverse client needs.

You will design, manage and evaluate programs, mentor wellness instructors and therapists, conduct needs assessments, and build partnerships with community

Qualifications

• Master's degree required or equivalent in a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in developing and managing wellness programs.
• At least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Extensive knowledge of mindfulness, meditation, yoga, stress reduction and related modalities.
• Proven track record in program design, implementation and evaluation.
• Strong leadership, communication and budgeting skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee mind-body wellness programs and services.
• Lead and mentor a team of wellness instructors, coaches, and therapists.
• Conduct needs assessments and market research for program expansion.
• Establish KPIs and metrics to evaluate effectiveness and impact.
• Manage budgets, resources, and operational logistics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate wellness initiatives.
• Develop partnerships with external wellness providers and community organizations.
• Ensure programs are evidence-based and culturally sensitive.
• Host workshops and speaking engagements to promote programs.
• Stay current with research and trends in mind-body medicine and wellness.
