Astron Energy (Pty) Ltd. seeks an Operations Manager Logistics to lead integrated, safe and efficient logistics across South Africa and Botswana.

You will direct a 133-person team across Terminals Inland, Terminals Coast and Fleet, driving cost reduction, asset reliability and OMS-aligned performance. Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (BEng), Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) or Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Engineering, Logistics or related discipline is required.
• Financial management or MBA qualification is advantageous
• Dangerous Goods transport or hazardous materials management certification is advantageous
• Minimum 12–15 years' experience in senior management in Supply Chain, Logistics or Manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the Logistics Operations team and define department objectives.
• Ensure OMS-based operational excellence and regulatory compliance across terminals, fleet, marine, aviation and bunker operations.
• Oversee terminal and fleet performance, haulier management, stock reconciliation and exception resolution across multi-site networks.
• Lead capital projects governance, budgeting, and contract management for logistics assets.
• Drive safety, HSSE compliance and emergency preparedness across all logistics operations.
