Job summary

ERWAT is seeking a Senior HR/OD leader to drive organisational development, talent management, performance management, learning and development, and skills development. You will lead the ERWAT Learning Academy, maintain accreditation, and ensure quality standards across learner support and programme delivery.

The role provides governance and oversight, engages with SETAs and regulators, and delivers a sustainable academy business plan, budgets and implementation roadmaps while ensuring statutory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Honours in HR/OD or related field.
• SETA assessor/moderator certification.
• 8 years of relevant L&D/OD experience.
• Experience establishing or leading a training academy and accreditation.
• Experience with WSP/ATR, SETA grants, and audits.
• Talent management experience.
• 5 years in managerial/supervisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead establishment and accreditation of ERWAT Learning Academy.
• Oversee policy governance and compliance for OD and training.
• Manage annual budgets and SETA funding.
• Coordinate stakeholder relationships with SETAs, SAQA, DWS.
• Drive learning and development strategy and system improvements.
