Job summary

RecruitMyMom is seeking an editorial leader in Cape Town to drive storytelling across global channels. You will shape strategic messaging, oversee editorial oversight, and manage content packaging for donors, governments, and media partners.

You will lead daily operations with a coaching mindset, own workflows, establish quality standards, and translate data into compelling impact narratives for diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in Journalism, Communications or related field.
• Experience leading editorial teams and delivering high-quality content.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, engaging narratives.

Responsibilities

• Lead editorial strategy and direction for global channels.
• Oversee content workflows, quality standards, and timelines.
• Coordinate with writers, producers and partners to deliver integrated content packages.
• Manage the editorial calendar and visibility planning.
• Guide and coach editorial team members to build capacity and autonomy.
