Job summary

MyCareerCraft seeks a seasoned Head of Data Operations to oversee data governance, quality, and strategy in a digital services setting. The role focuses on data security, regulatory compliance (POPIA), and stakeholder engagement at executive levels.

You will lead cross-functional teams, shape data-driven initiatives, and steer revenue growth through innovative data solutions across national clients. Travel nationally is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; postgraduate qualification preferred.
• 10+ years of senior or executive-level experience in data/IT/operations.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, compliance frameworks (incl. POPIA), and stakeholder management.
• Proven leadership in cross-functional team management, strategic planning, and revenue generation.
• Experience in customer relationship management, performance improvement, and innovation.
• Knowledge of organisational effectiveness, HR, finance, project management, and sales functions.
• Willingness to travel nationally and engage at executive level with institutional clients.
