Job summary

Derivco is seeking a Manager: Analytics to lead the Data-Hub team, overseeing data engineering from collection to enrichment for reporting. This hands-on leadership role partners with senior engineers and the data architect to set strategic direction and drive milestone-based execution.

The role includes expanding Snowflake capabilities, real-time pipelines, and collaboration with sister analytics teams to unlock near-real-time insights and AI-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• Honours degree in data-related analytical field.
• 8–10 years in data engineering, analytics, or operations analytics with leadership experience.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Data-Hub engineering team to set strategic direction and milestones.
• Own delivery of data pipelines, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and timeliness.
• Manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships for data platforms and tools.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions.
• Evaluate new tools and guide solution design decisions across the data platform.
