Job summary

Derivco is seeking a Manager: Analytics to lead its Data-Hub team, owning data pipelines from collection to enrichment and reporting. This hands-on leadership role partners with senior engineers and a data architect to set direction and milestones, driving near-real-time Snowflake pipelines and AI-enabled insights.

The role requires steering complex stakeholder relationships, overseeing budgets and vendors, and ensuring scalable, auditable data platforms across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with Honours in data science or related analytical field.
• 8–10 years in data engineering, data analysis, or operations analytics, including leadership.
• Proven track record mentoring engineers and analysts.
• Experience managing budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
• Strong stakeholder management with delivery credibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Data-Hub engineering team, setting strategic direction and milestones.
• Own delivery, ensure data pipelines are accurate, documented, and maintainable.
• Manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships for data platforms.
• Provide technical leadership across warehousing, orchestration, and scripting.
• Partner with the business and sister analytics teams to translate capabilities into outcomes.
