Job summary

Derivco seeks a Manager: Analytics to lead the Data-Hub team, guiding data engineering from collection to enrichment for reporting. You will set strategic direction, drive milestones, and maintain credibility with senior engineers and the data architect.

You'll oversee real-time Snowflake pipelines, manage budgets and vendors, and partner with the broader analytics function to deliver business insights and AI-enabled outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with Honours in a related analytical field.
• 8–10 years in data engineering, data analysis, or operations analytics, including leadership experience.
• A data engineering background with credibility to guide technical direction.
• Budget management, contract/vendor negotiation, and financial reporting experience.
• Strong stakeholder management with a track record of delivering results.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Data-Hub engineering team with strategic direction and milestones.
• Prioritise stakeholder demands and drive data validation and quality standards.
• Manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships for data platforms.
• Provide technical leadership across data warehousing, pipelines, and scripting languages.
• Partner with the business and sister analytics team to translate capabilities into outcomes.
