Job summary

Mvgrecruitment is seeking a Head of Business Intelligence in Centurion, SA, to lead and run the organisation's BI capability. You will oversee data architecture, reporting ecosystems and analytics delivery across providers, doctors, hospitals and partners.

The role requires 8+ years in data/BI, proven BI leadership, and experience with data warehouse/data lake architectures, reporting automation, and stakeholder management. Office-based role in Centurion offering strategic impact.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in a quantitative field (Data Science, Statistics, CS, Data Analytics).
• 8+ years’ experience in data/BI or related environments.
• Proven leadership of a BI or data team.
• Experience delivering data warehouse/data lake architecture.
• Strong reporting automation and stakeholder-management experience.
• Exposure to system integrations, vendor coordination and delivery management.

Responsibilities

• Shape and implement the BI strategy, operating model and team structure.
• Lead development and optimisation of the data warehouse, data lake and multi-source integration.
• Deliver automated operational, client, regulatory and executive reporting.
• Convert business needs into BI outputs and manage cross-functional delivery.
• Implement data-quality, security and single-source-of-truth standards.
• Grow anomaly-detection capabilities and develop BI-driven commercial products.
• Manage integrations with healthcare providers via switching platforms and Web API connections, ensuring SLAs and monitoring.
