Profile Personnel is seeking a Head of Accounting to lead the accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and sound governance across the business.

This senior role operates in a dynamic, globally aligned manufacturing environment, requiring IFRS expertise, strategic thinking and strong leadership.

Requirements include CA(SA) or BCom Accounting Honours with articles, 5–7 years in financial accounting, IFRS knowledge, and excellent stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• CA(SA) or BCom Accounting Honours with completed articles.
• 5–7 years' experience in financial accounting with reporting exposure.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and understanding of accounting standards.
• Experience in complex audit, regulatory, or reporting environments is advantageous.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial accounting and reporting functions, ensuring timely statutory reporting.
• Oversee preparation of company and group consolidated annual financial statements.
• Manage inventory accounting, costing, and accounts payable.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and group accounting standards.
• Oversee APDP, Production Incentive (PI), EUR1, and AIS accounting and claims.
• Build relationships with auditors, government stakeholders, and group finance teams.
