Job summary

Capitec Bank Ltd. in Sandton seeks a senior leader to shape and oversee electronic payment operations, ensuring performance against budgets, goals, and metrics.

You will provide strategic input, lead teams, manage SWIFT-related activities, and drive governance, risk management and process improvements across payments and related systems. The role demands extensive experience in payments, regulatory knowledge, and stakeholder influence to deliver the Payments strategy and uphold Capitec's service

Qualifications

• 10+ years general/operational management experience in a senior role.
• At least 7yrs payment/transaction SWIFT experience at a senior level.
• Experience leading and managing a team and/or organisational unit.
• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or Accounting - Financial Accounting.

Experience

Min/Ideal:

• 10yrs+ general/operational management experience in a senior role
• Or as a specialist in a leadership role such as a manger or head of a function such as finance, operations, accounting.
• Experience leading and managing a team and /or organisational unit
• At least 7yrs payment/transaction SWIFT experience at a senior level.
• Proven experience of using influence and relationships to drive and achieve objectives.

Qualifications (Minimum)

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or Accounting - Financial Accounting
