About the Role

Our client is searching for a passionate and qualified Head Coach to lead their burgeoning Youth Soccer Academy in Tembisa . This position requires an individual dedicated to developing young talent, fostering a positive team culture, and implementing a progressive coaching philosophy. You will be responsible for the technical and tactical development of players across various age groups, working closely with parents and academy staff to ensure a holistic approach to player growth and well-being. This role is crucial for building a strong foundation for future success within the academy and contributing to the development of soccer in the Gauteng region.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive training programs focused on technical skill, tactical understanding, and physical conditioning.
• Scout and recruit talented young players for the academy.
• Manage team performance, including match preparation, strategy, and player evaluation.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to players, promoting sportsmanship and personal development.
• Collaborate with assistant coaches, sports scientists, and administrative staff to ensure seamless academy operations.

Requirements

• Extensive coaching experience, preferably with youth teams and a proven track record of player development.
• Possession of a recognized coaching license (e.g., SAFA Pro License, UEFA A License).
