Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in housekeeping or cleaning supervision within the hospitality industry.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of cleaning chemicals, techniques, and best practices for various surfaces.
• Experience in managing cleaning supplies and inventory.
• Strong understanding of health, safety, and hygiene standards in hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and schedule the cleaning and housekeeping staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adequate coverage.
• Develop and implement comprehensive cleaning checklists and procedures for all areas of the venue.
• Conduct regular inspections of all premises to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to quality standards.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment, ensuring adequate stock and responsible usage.
• Oversee the proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and machinery.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations relevant to hospitality.
• Respond promptly to guest or event-related cleaning requests and resolve issues effectively.
• Maintain a professional and positive attitude, leading by example for the cleaning team.
• Coordinate with other departments, such as Banqueting and Facilities Management, to meet event-specific cleaning needs.
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to cleaning and sanitation.
