Qualifications

• Proven coaching experience at competitive level (high school, collegiate, or professional).
• Extensive knowledge of basketball rules, strategies, and coaching methodologies.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; coaching certifications are a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement training programs, including offensive and defensive strategies, conditioning, and skill refinement.
• Scout and recruit talented student-athletes, assessing their athletic potential and academic eligibility.
• Lead and manage all aspects of team operations, including scheduling games, practices, and travel arrangements.
• Provide motivational coaching and guidance to foster player growth, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
• Monitor player academic progress and ensure adherence to academy eligibility standards.
• Collaborate with athletic staff, support services, and parents to ensure holistic athlete development.
• Manage the basketball program's budget, including equipment procurement and team expenses.
• Stay abreast of the latest basketball trends, techniques, and rule changes.
• Represent the academy with professionalism at all games, tournaments, and community events.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive training environment for all athletes.
