Job summary

Silversea Cruises seeks an experienced Head Bartender to lead beverage service across onboard outlets, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while upholding Public Health standards.

You will supervise bar teams, manage stock and inventory, promote premium spirits and wines, coordinate events, and collaborate with Hotel Stores to ensure seamless operations during embarkations and port calls. A strong knowledge of American bar service and STCW95 is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid STCW95 certification is required.
• Previous Head Bartender experience in a 5 star establishment, hotel, restaurant or cruise ship.
• Excellent knowledge of American bar service and wines/liquors.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, professional and personalized beverage service in all outlets.
• Ensure bars are open and operating per schedule.
• Supervise setup for tea service and bar activities.
• Promote premium spirits, wines, cigars to guests.
• Coordinate beverage orders and stock with Hotel Stores Manager.
• Maintain inventory and cost control for bar operations.
