Placements24 is seeking a competent Site Engineer to oversee technical execution on construction projects in Kimberley. You will ensure activities align with design specs, quality standards, and safety regulations while collaborating with site management, subcontractors, and design consultants.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree or diploma, 3–5 years of site experience, and the ability to interpret drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional registration with ECSA is advantageous.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Site Engineer on construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all on-site engineering operations per plans and specs.
• Conduct quality control checks and ensure adherence to engineering standards and best practices.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings and specs; provide technical guidance to the construction team.
• Manage setting out of works and ensure accurate measurements.
• Monitor site progress and identify technical issues; propose timely solutions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations on site.
