Placements24 is seeking a proactive Gym Operations Supervisor to manage the day-to-day operations of a busy fitness center in Centurion. You will ensure a seamless member experience, lead staff like receptionists and trainers, and uphold facility standards to drive efficiency.

The role requires a background in gym management, strong leadership, and exceptional customer service, with flexibility for weekends and some evenings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fitness center management or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of gym operations, membership sales, and customer service best practices.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in gym management software and standard office applications.
• Certification in Fitness Management or a related discipline is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and some evenings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the fitness facility, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and organization.
• Manage and motivate the gym staff, including receptionists and trainers, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Handle member inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
• Manage facility equipment, ensuring it is well-maintained, safe, and functional.
• Implement and enforce gym policies and procedures.
• Assist in the planning and execution of gym promotions, events, and member activities.
