Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a dynamic Guest Relations Service Manager to join a luxury desert lodge near Sossusvlei, Namibia. This pivotal role oversees Front of House, ensuring guest satisfaction and service excellence through proactive leadership and warm, professional interactions.

You will lead Front of House with on-the-job training, schedule staff, oversee events, and ensure guest care remains outstanding across all departments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in a similar hospitality role.
• Strong F&B skills and knowledge.
• Excellent English communication.
• Outgoing, warm and well-presented with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and motivate staff.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests on arrival and assist with check-in and activity orientation.
• Oversee daily operations of front-of-house staff, ensuring high service standards.
• Lead Front of House team, including on-the-job training and daily guidance.
• Conduct training sessions to maintain service quality and lodge standards.
• Create and manage staff schedules for adequate coverage and smooth operations.
• Assist with staff management, including uniforms, leave schedules and performance appraisals.
• Promote a culture of guest care and interaction across departments.
• Tailor services to guest preferences and organise events or activities.
• Oversee guest delight initiatives in coordination with management and teams.
• Prepare and submit reports on guest feedback and service issues.
