Job summary

Novus Holdings Limited in Cape Town is seeking a Group Financial Accountant to drive group consolidation, IFRS reporting and tax compliance. You will report to the Group Financial Manager and support automation of finance processes.

The role requires a qualified CA/CIMA/ACCA with 1–3 years of experience, strong IFRS knowledge, and familiarity with JSE listings. You will work with multiple subsidiaries and assist with budgeting, treasury and audit preparation.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (CA/CIMA/ACCA) with 1–3 years' experience.
• Strong IFRS and JSE listing knowledge.
• Experience with various accounting and reporting software.
• Knowledge of corporate income tax and statutory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly group consolidation and reporting.
• Prepare group and subsidiary financial statements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and treasury activities.
• Ensure IFRS compliance and assist with tax calculations.
• Prepare audit files and IFRS/ESG reporting (if applicable).
