Job summary

The Legends Agency in Cape Town is seeking a hands-on Group Financial Manager to lead multi-entity finance operations, implement strong controls, and partner with executive leadership to drive sustainable growth. You will oversee monthly closes, treasury, VAT and tax submissions, payroll, intercompany activity, and provide strategic financial modelling and scenario analysis for decision-making.

This role requires a relevant degree and professional designations, with a track record in leadership

Qualifications

Tertiary degree in Accounting or Finance required.
Professional designations preferred.
Experience in multi-entity group accounting and month-end closes.

Responsibilities

Oversee full-function month-end closes, trial balances, reconciliations, and group management accounts across entities.
Lead accounting and administrative staff to ensure financial accuracy across the group.
Monitor treasury, banking facilities, and authorise operational payments.
Coordinate VAT, EMP201/EMP501, and provisional tax submissions with external practitioners.
Oversee group payroll processing and intercompany reconciliations.
Provide financial modelling and scenario analysis for executive leadership.
