HotelJobs in Western Cape seeks a senior finance professional to lead financial operations for a hotel and lodge group. The role requires CA qualifications, Level 7, and strong operational experience at property level to assume duties with no training.

You will manage budgets, cashflow, month-end close, and statutory compliance while overseeing a finance team across multiple entities. Advanced Excel and ERP/Hospitality PMS expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Essential: Qualified with minimum level 7 + CA qualifications.
• On-the-ground practical operational experience at property level to take over the position seamlessly (with no training required).
• Relevant accounting/financial-management degree/diploma.
• Substantial financial-management experience with full responsibility for month-end close and management accounting.
• Proven leadership of a finance team across multiple entities.
• Strong cash-flow forecasting, consolidation, intercompany, balance-sheet control, budgeting, stock/COS analysis, audit and statutory-compliance experience.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong working knowledge of accounting/ERP and hospitality PMS.
• Good practical knowledge of relevant legislation and reporting frameworks, including VAT, income tax, Companies Act requirements, BCEA, EE, OHSA, COIDA, IFRS and GAAP.

Responsabilités

• Design, set parameters, implement and finalise budgets, cashflow, finalise audit, cost and stock control, management accounts, and all transactional entries from daily to weekly to monthly to annual and to 5-year forecast.
• Oversee month-end close and management accounting across multiple entities.
• Provide leadership of a finance team and ensure intercompany and consolidation processes are accurate.
• Ensure compliance with VAT, income tax, Companies Act, BCEA, OHSA, COIDA and IFRS/GAAP.
