The role emphasizes strong analytical skills, proficiency with PSS/E, ETAP or PSCAD, and effective communication with project teams and regulators to deliver reliable grid connections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum 5 years in power system engineering with grid connection experience.
• Proficient with PSS/E, ETAP, PSCAD.
• Knowledge of grid codes, protection schemes & power quality.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform power system studies including load flow, short circuit, stability, and protection coordination analyses.
• Design and specify electrical infrastructure for substations, transmission lines, and distribution networks for renewable energy integration.
• Ensure compliance with grid codes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements for all interconnected projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and utility engineers to optimize grid connection strategies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to grid integration and power system performance.
