Job summary

Prime Fastener, a leading manufacturer of eco-friendly trims for the clothing industry, is seeking a full-time Graphic Designer in Cape Town to create product trims, labels, and packaging.

You will develop graphics, layouts, logos, and label concepts, prepare print-ready files, maintain consistent branding, and support marketing with digital and print design, collaborating with product and sales teams.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in graphics and graphic design with a portfolio.
• Minimum 5 years experience in graphic design.
• Proficiency in Corel Draw.
• Experience with industry-standard design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) is advantageous.
• A relevant qualification or diploma in Graphic Design or related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Graphic Designer role based in Cape Town. The Graphic Designer will create product trims, labels, and packaging. Day-to-day tasks include developing graphics and layouts, working on logo and label concepts, preparing print-ready files, and collaborating with product and sales teams to translate client requirements into effective visual solutions. The role also involves maintaining consistent branding across materials, selecting appropriate typography, and supporting marketing initiatives with digital and print design as needed.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Graphics and Graphic Design, with a portfolio demonstrating relevant work. Minimum 5 years experience
• Must be proficient in Corel Draw
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software (such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign) is beneficial.
• Experience in print production, packaging, or fashion/apparel design is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to follow brand guidelines, and effective collaboration and communication skills are important.
