Job summary

Silhouette Sportswear is seeking a junior to mid-level designer to join our Northcliff office. You will work on vector design to match client briefs and learn production processes from design to layout and colour matching.

Familiarity with CorelDraw or Illustrator and Photoshop is essential; Shopify, social media, photography and SEO are advantageous. Applicants should be self-disciplined, hard-working and detail-oriented with a good eye for colour.

Job description

We're a custom sportswear manufacturer based in Northcliff, Johannesburg. We're looking for a healthy, happy, hardworking, creative and competent junior to mid-level designer to join our team in Northcliff.

We're looking for help with vector design work to align with client/rep briefs. You will be taught a range of skills all related to our production process, from design to layout, colour matching etc.

Further to this, Shopify, social media, photography, marketing skills and a passion for sport are always advantageous.

Applicants needs to be self-disciplined, hard working, neat in their work and have a good eye for colour and detail.

Most of our design work is done in CorelDraw - so good knowledge/experience of it or a similar vector-based application (like Illustrator) is essential! Some solid Photoshop skills are always advantageous.

Own transport is essential. We're an office-based department. Unfortunately no remote working. Strictly no smokers! (please don't waste our time)

The position is available immediately - but we'll look at all suitable candidates and weigh up our options.
