Qualifications

• Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong knowledge of typography, layout, branding and print production.
• Experience with packaging and digital/social content.
• Experience mentoring or guiding other designers.
• Highly organized, creative and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Graphic Design Lead position available in Cape Town.

Are you an experienced, hands-on designer ready to take the next step into a creative leadership role? Our client is looking for a talented Design Lead to play a key role within their in-house creative team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves being involved in the creative process while also guiding designers, overseeing quality, and helping shape the overall creative direction.

What you'll be doing:

• You'll remain hands-on with design while taking ownership of creative output across a variety of projects, including:
• Creative campaigns across print and digital
• Packaging and point-of-sale materials
• Social media and digital content
• Brand presentations and pitch decks
• Artwork preparation and production
• You'll also provide creative guidance to other designers, manage workloads and deadlines, review work before final delivery, and ensure all creative output is consistent with the wider brand and marketing strategy.

What we're looking for:

• A Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field
• 5 - 7 Years' professional design experience
• Experience working within a fashion, lifestyle, retail, or consumer-focused environment would be advantageous
