Qualifications

• Final-year student or recent graduate in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Eligible for candidacy registration with ECSA is desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Working knowledge of design or project scheduling software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Work on live projects within the food and beverage manufacturing industry in SA.
• Experience full project lifecycle from concept/design through to construction/commissioning.
• Support multidisciplinary teams across Architecture, Engineering and PM.
• Develop project management skills under guidance of senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

Project Exposure

• Work on live projects within South Africa’s food and beverage manufacturing industry.
• Gain exposure to the full project lifecycle, from concept and design through to construction and commissioning.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary projects alongside our Architecture, Engineering, and Project Management teams.

Technical & Project Management Development

• Develop practical, high-level project management skills under the guidance of experienced engineers.
• Assist with the coordination of designs, schedules, and technical documentation.
• Support site visits, progress monitoring, and reporting across active projects.
• Work alongside experienced engineers and industry experts as part of a diverse development journey.
• Build a strong foundation for your professional career, working towards Pr. Eng. (ECSA) registration.
• Participate in structured mentorship and on-the-job training throughout the programme.

Requirements

• Final-year student or recent graduate in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Eligible for candidacy registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages (especially Excel, Word).
• Working knowledge of design or project scheduling software will be advantageous.
• A genuine interest in the food and beverage manufacturing industry will be advantageous.

Renumeration

A market-related graduate stipend will be offered, befitting the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience.
