Job summary

Syspro in Johannesburg is seeking a BI Intern to work with our analytics team to build dashboards, reports, and AI-driven insights that help Syspro customers see their business clearly and help Syspro see its own.

You will clean, model, and validate data from multiple sources, apply AI/ML techniques, and present findings to non-technical stakeholders.

The role requires a degree or diploma in data science or related fields, knowledge of SQL, and exposure to BI tools.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in data science, information systems, statistics, or similar.
• Working knowledge of SQL; exposure to Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
• Some exposure to AI/ML concepts or tools, even at learning/project level.
• An eye for the story in a dataset, not just the numbers.
• Genuine interest in manufacturing and distribution data.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain reports and dashboards using Syspro's BI tools
• Clean, model, and validate data from multiple sources

• Use AI-assisted tools that are already part of how Syspro works, to speed up analysis and reporting
• Partner with product and customer teams to turn questions into queries
