Job summary

Absolute Pets is seeking a highly organised IBT Clerk to join the Gauteng Warehouse in Kempton Park. You will manage all incoming IBTs from stores, ensuring driver debriefs are accurate and stock is correctly allocated in the system.

You will monitor outgoing IBTs to stores, alert management to ageing IBTs, and investigate discrepancies using Fleetcam. Daily duties include stock intake, damages, and preparing management reports for smooth warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Manage all incoming IBTs from stores and verify documents.
• Monitor outgoing IBTs and alert management for ageing IBTs.
• Ensure IBTs are up to date; none older than 48 hours.
• Investigate delivery discrepancies using Fleetcam.
• Record damages from trucks and prepare management reports.
• Daily handover of IBTs requiring write-off.

Job description

Specialising in premium pet foods and accessories, Absolute Pets is the leading pet retailer in South Africa with over 200 stores across the country.Our team of experts is looking for a highly organised IBT Clerk to join the Absolute Pets team at our Gauteng Warehouse in Kempton Park.

If you want to join our team, these are a few of the key areas that you will need to be responsible for:

• Managing of all incoming IBT’s from stores – Driver debrief ensuring all relevant documents are correct and all stock returned is assigned to a person with a reason
• Monitoring of all outgoing IBT’s to stores and alert management when there are IBT’s older than the agreed ageing
• Ensure all IBT’s are kept current. (None older than 48 hours)
• Immediately investigate any short delivery/over delivery – This must be done as the drivers report on the group daily
• Utilize Fleetcam to check for any delivery inconsistencies and for IBT discrepancy investigations
• Flag issues relating to system, store non-compliance and warehouse issues that contribute to the increase in IBTs
• Record damages coming from trucks
• Prepare reports for management
• Clear Think time tickets daily
• Ensure that all good incoming stock is put back to stock after correct processing through the system
• Daily handover to inventory of IBT’s that requires write off – damage and/or expired stock.
• Accept incoming stock from drivers
• Allocate the IBT returned stock to the relevant assigned bins on system.
