Job summary

Absolute Pets seeks an organised IBT Clerk to join the Gauteng Warehouse team in Kempton Park. You will manage all incoming IBTs from stores and ensure proper documentation, while coordinating stock returns and responsible allocation in the system.

Your daily duties include investigating delivery discrepancies, logging damages, preparing management reports, and ensuring timely handover of stock. A keen eye for detail and reliable daily performance are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage all incoming IBTs from stores– driver debrief ensuring all relevant documents are correct and stock returned is assigned to a person with a reason
• Monitor all outgoing IBTs to stores and alert management when there are IBTs older than the agreed ageing
• Ensure all IBTs are kept current (none older than 48 hours)
• Immediately investigate any short delivery/over delivery – driven by drivers' group daily reports
• Utilise Fleetcam to check for delivery inconsistencies and IBT discrepancy investigations
• Flag issues relating to system, store non-compliance and warehouse issues contributing to IBTs
• Record damages coming from trucks
• Prepare reports for management
• Clear Think time tickets daily
• Ensure incoming stock is returned to stock after processing through the system
• Daily handover to inventory of IBTs that require write off – damage and/or expired stock
• Accept incoming stock from drivers
• Allocate the IBT returned stock to relevant assigned bins on system
