A private school in the Western Cape is seeking a Gr. 12 Music/ Gr. 8 & 9 History Educator for a fixed-term contract starting in January 2026. Rallim Modern Learning Environment, an exciting private school situated on Berkshire Boulevard, Sunningdale, in the Western Cape, is seeking to employ a Gr. 12 Music/ Gr. 8 & 9 History Educator (Fixed-Term Contract) to join a talented and creative community in January 2026. First preference will be given to candidates based in Cape Town.

  • Bachelor’s degree with specialisation in Music and/or History, plus a PGCE or equivalent.
  • SACE registration (or proof of application).
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Grade 12 Music (practical and theory) and Grade 8 & 9 History within the CAPS curriculum.
  • Strong planning, assessment, and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to co-curricular involvement, particularly music ensembles, productions, or cultural events.
  • Proficiency in integrating technology into teaching and learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork within a dynamic high school environment.
