Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or related discipline.
• 3-5 years of direct experience in international procurement or global supply chains.
• Solid understanding of trade regulations, Incoterms, and customs procedures.
• Experience negotiating international contracts and managing cross-border supplier relationships.
• Proficient in international trade software and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify and onboard international suppliers with quality and ethics.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery for international contracts.
• Manage international procurement lifecycle including import/export docs and freight coordination.
• Monitor market trends, currencies to inform sourcing and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, finance to forecast demand and supply.
• Manage relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other logistics providers.
• Ensure compliance with international trade laws and sanctions.
• Resolve issues arising from international transactions with minimal disruption.
• Maintain records of procurement activities and contracts.
• Contribute to development of procurement policies and procedures.
