Job summary

SAB is seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to perform end-to-end intercompany processing for Africa Zone and Global operations. You will ensure accurate financial transactions, reporting, and governance across balance sheets, income statements, and working capital processes in SAP and Cognos.

Degree in accounting or related field; post-graduate qualification advantageous.
Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI).
Knowledge of IFRS and procurement-to-pay processes; query resolution.

Responsibilities

Prepare intercompany chargeback requests.
Prepare and execute intercompany billings, payments, netting, cash application, accruals and corrections.
Prepare intercompany reconciliations and detailed transactions for non-finance teams.
Prepare and upload intercompany journals, including accruals and recharges.
Investigate and resolve reconciling items to clear mismatches and aged items.
Review intercompany charges for completeness and integrity; implement corrective actions.
Support monthly closing for entities including balance sheet and income statement.
